My boyfriend of over a year and I go to the same college. However, I'm afraid that's going to change. He is obsessed with xbox360 and devotes his whole day to that. Other then going to class he plays xbox. His grades are very poor and he never studies. I have tried numerous times to get him going.. ive done everything in the book and he says yea I know I will study and he still hasn't. Now we are at midterm and his grades are all under a B. he doesn't realize everything is going downhill for him. Im at a loss. How can I get him to wake up and realize his future is being threatened? I love him very much and don't want to see him lose everything... HELP!

This is hard to do. And not come across as nagging.

But you are right you only want what is best for your boyfriend.

Just sit him down one day and say look. You doing well is very important to me. I'm not your mom but I care about you and our futuer together.

Now on the other hand. Collage is not the B all and End all. I know a friend of mine who never went to collage and is on more money than well anyone I know.

Because he has something else. Its called DRIVE. Your boyfriend needs his drive back in life
Sadly he puts it into computer games which is a very easy thing to do.

Send romefalls all of the xbox games along with the controllers. I already have the system but send that too just to be sure he can't play it.

But seriously, hide the xbox.. Or you could always make it fun and do the Billy Madison way of studying:-)
