Relocating an Electrical Ciruit Breaker Box
We currently have a circuit breaker box on a wall in a utility room with our washer dryer/water heater/HVAC. We are interested in making this room into a 2nd bathroom, but we are aware of the code restrictions prohibiting a circuit breaker box in a bathroom (common sense water and 110volts don't mix well). In view of this problem, we are wondering if we could do the following. The wall on the back side of the electrical box is in our hallway. Would it be possible to simply rotate the box 180 degrees so that the electrical box now opens into the hallway side of the wall. It seems like a practical solution which will enable us to convert this space into a bathroom.

    Thanks,
    Jim
