Me and my boyfriend have been trying to conceive for a while now and I think I am pregnant... can someone please tell me some signs and symptoms of being pregnant? About a month ago when I was suppose to have my period I bled a little bit but not much and I haven't had a period since then. I had recently been having to go to the bathroom more often... my last real period was August 23rd... can I be pregnant?

Symptoms of pregnancy are very similar to PMS.

Main symptom is a missed period and a positive pregnancy test, those are the only real symptoms to be concerned about.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? Wait until you are around 1 week late for your period and then take an hpt using first morning urine.

Well I thought I got my period but it was only for a day and it wasn't like my normal periods it was a lot shorter and lighter... and lately I have been feeling reaally tired and like bloated for the past 2 1/2 weeks and the bloating won't go away...

Bloating and feeling tired are also symptoms of PMS, so they aren't a sure fire symptom of pregnancy. Only a positive pregnancy test can give you the answer, we can only guess.

Get an hpt, take it with first morning urine, then you'll have your anser.

OK what about the spotting?

What spotting, did I miss it? I don't think I read anything about spotting.

You said that you had a light period, not that you had spotting.

You could be pregnant, you could have just had an off month, you could have a urinary tract infection, you could have an STD, there are so many possibilites, all with side effects that can seem like pregnancy.

The only way to know for sure is to get a positive result with a pregnancy test, be it a store bought test or a test at your doctors office.

I had had my yearly chech up like a month ago and I don't have any stds or a urinary tract infection... and I still haven't gotten my period and I am always on time I am not late for my period... could expired tests come out negative or will they work?
