Hi guys. My dog is a cane corso (italian mastiff breed). She eats well but she is not gaining weight. Is it okay to see rib cage? We walk often. She goes every where I go. She just look so skiny. Healthy but skiny. Any suggestions? Like worms or ? Help? I use to have the same breed dog for 12 years and I never encountered a wight gaining issue. Sooo.

How old is she? Has she been spayed? I think if she had worms, she would act as though she didn't feel well and if you examine her stools, you would know too, but they can do a fecal test at the vet. If she is still young (under two) she may be very thin as she is still a puppy and if she isn't spayed, she has much more energy than a dog who isn't. If you do plan on spaying her, she will start to gain some weight after.
