So How/where/when did you meet your first love?

The playground! 1961!

In a New York State grade school, 1959. He's a retired college professor, long-time married to his college sweetheart, and coincidentally lives a few miles from me in Illinois.

My first love?

I met him at a coffee shop, apparently I totally gave him the cold shoulder the first time we met, he still talks about that to this day (no, he's not my hubby, but we're still friends).

It wasn't until weeks later that I met him again at a mutual friends place and I started talking to him. We weren't together long, it was quality, not quantity, we're better at being friends. :)

I met my first love at a purse party, lol.. he was living with a guy and girl (couple) at the time and the girl hosted the party, I attended, we saw each other very fast as I was leaving,( he was just coming home from work) and we thought each other were cute, but I left really fast

Then later that night my friend (who also was at the party) texted me saying that we would be cute together and she gave me his cell number and it was all history from there!
