My bath tub drain lever won't allow the water to drain fromn the tub. It pops up after a few seconds and will not allow thgw water to drain from the tub. How can I fix it? Thank you

Go to home depot or similar home supply store and pick up a replacement trip lever FACE PLATE.

Then go home and unscrew the screws in old plate and swap the old one with the new one.

The old face plate has a spring that has lost its compression! Super easy to replace... say about $10.00 to 15.00
