    Wanting to get pregnant
Okay so I just got off depo vera in August and I want to get pregnant, but I don't get my periods regurly. Everyone I know got pregnant during using the nuva ring. And I want to get pregnant. And the docs say I should do the nuva ring to get pregnant. But I don't really understand how it will work. Any help??

Umm, the nuva ring is birth control. It stops pregnancy from happening.

Depo can take as much as 18 months after the last injection before you are able to conceive.

    Lol. Okay
So put it in for 3 week, then take it out for one. And in that time. Your suppose to have your period and ovulate. But if you leave it out one more week, you ovulate still, and can get pregnant. I know because my cousin got pregnant that way.

If you leave it out one more week then it isn't being used as it should, so yes, pregnancy could be a possibility... but it doesn't mean it enhances fertility because of the ring, it is because cycles may be regulated.

Your doctor may have been suggesting that with it's use it may help you regulate your cycles, thus upping the odds of becoming pregnant once you stop using it. Birth control pills are sometimes prescribed for the same reason as both have the same hormones and do the same thing in regard to preventing pregnancy.

As J_9 mentioned, it is common for it to take awhile for some women to resume normal cycles after using the depo injection. Using another form of birth control, like the ring, may or may not help you get your cycle back on track.
