    Sure, ask the Trane guy and he'll tell you Trane is better. Ask the Lennox guy, guess what he will say.Just kidding but both are actually good companies and have been around for a long time. Compare aple to apples and get quotes on unit that are neraly identical.

    If we are going to be honest, if you compare two units with approximately the same specs you will find very little difference as far as quality. Your only real difference is going to be in price.

    But one thing to consider is in the warranty or service contracts. Furnaces can be very worrisome and there is nothing worse than having no heat in the middle of winter. I would recommend you figure out the size of furnace you need and get bids from the an installer. The kicker to me with appliances has always been warranties as almost all appliances are made identically anymore.

    I'm sure someone will disagree with this but it is how I would go about selecting a new unit.
