You could repair the leak with some specialized fiberglass repair stuff but from prior experience from when I tried to repair a fiberglass tub in the past I found that the patched portion was a different color and that the patched portion just didn't hold properly and that I kept having to repatch the hole again. Had I had it to do over again, I would have replaced the tub. The problem with the repair stuff is that it does not hold properly when constantly exposed to hot water.

    Champwithin...

Twinkie's correct here... the home repair fixes just don't work in long run.

However, a professional fiberglass repair service should be able to fix the chip seamlessly! Look them up in the local yellow pages under fiberglass repair... get three estimates... I'm thinking $150.00 to $250ish?? But, of course, depends on where you're from.

All really depends on how badly you want this to go away, I guess... ;)
