    I defraged then only had 10 free space then removed all promgrams that I could still no help

    I am trying to get room to use the computer after a defrag I only have 10% of free space
    The computer is very slow user systom is xp

    At least 15% free space (maybe more with larger files) is required to defrag with the Windows XP defragmenter. You can clear up some space with a disk cleanup (right clic on the hard drive in My Computer and select Disk Cleanup) to clear out the temporary files and Internet Explorer Cache.

    Another, better way is to use a defragmenter that can operate effectively in low space conditions, such as Diskeeper 2008. It's also much faster and powerful than the Windows defragmenter. If you are unable to get the windows defragger to do it's job, you can download and try the free trial version of Diskeeper from their website (it works for about a month after which it deactivates itself).
