What state are you in? Each place has it's own set of laws and some do rule on the subject of infant visitation especially for those that are breast feed. However, once that one year mark is crossed by just one day the laws change drastically.

I live in london he live in sheffield so it not like he's just around the corner its over 200 mile away. I'm just worry my son will get confuse. Baby need routing don't they. I won't my son to see his dad but it just too much every week 3 day here and 3 day there , and he teething at the moment so he not all that well.

Generally, this is left to a judge's discretion. If the mother is breast feeding, such visits are normally not allowed.

It's ture that children do need a routine however when the parents can't stay together it becomes a part of life that the judge will have to rule upon. The judges are there to look out for the best interest of the child.

I don't know if anyone hear is qualifed to comment on British law, but if you are interested in California law, the answer is of course a father can have overights with a baby. Why not? A parent is a parent is a parent. There's no gender bias in our law. But, as others have said it's all within judicial discretion. There may be good reasons to give mom more time (especially of breast feeding, etc).

When my cousin was rewarded visitations with his son and the mom was breastfeedings the judge order the mom to provide extra milk because the judge didn't think that breaatfeeding should've played a factor with father having his son.

If you have any issues with him regarding him having his son you should really address it with the court.

Maybe your right .I will give it a dame good go set some ground rule and hope for the best. j-keter
