Should we sign for the certified letters that come from the Lawyers or should we sign for the mail. I have credit card debts that where turned over to collection agency's & I will fight the lawsuits in court my question is should I sign for the certified mail or not. What happens if I don't will they get a default judgment anyway.

Most times the lawyers will send you the mail Certified Returned Receipt Requested as well as regular mail. I can't tell you how many times I did that when I worked in law. So, if it is sent both ways, correct service has been made whether you sign for the letter.
