I got the iud in June well anyway me and my husband where having sex the other day and I just started to bleed a lot like more than a period but it only lasted a couple of hours this is the only timed that it happened does anyone know what it could be or why it happened

Was the sex rough? Could you be near a period? Was there alcohol involved?

No alcahol don't drink yes it was a little rough I am not do for my period until around nov 11th it only last like maybe a half hour and then I spotted for one day and now nothing I am just scared that maybe be knocked it out of place

The IUD be knocked out of place? Can you still feel the string?

Most likely it is due to the rough sex.

I just tried to find my strings last night I don't know why I didn't think of that but anyway I couldn't find them so I had my hubby try because he can usually fill them I we can't find them anywhere
