My husband and I are trying to have our first baby. This is our first cycle. My period is 5 days late today.

I have taken many Home Pregancy tests, all are negative. Other symptoms are slightly tender breasts and I'm cramping like I might start my period. Actually I've been doing that since the day my period was due. I'm also having diarrhea, which could be unrelated. I have IBS and I've gone off my IBS meds at my OB/GYN's direction. It just started though right before my period was due. I am peeing a lot which could be in my head. I had a bad headache yesterday. Not sure what to do... Seems like my HcG ought to be up by now.

I think you should visit your family doctor.Doctor will do a urine and blood test and u'll know maybe right on the spot or a day later. Good Luck!

Yes you could, on my daughter I did 4 times test ,after I missed my period and always it s was negative and funny is that in daughters office MA made a mistake, and told me no, than I asked : what can be a reason, when I was speaking to daughter MA came and after the lots of sorry she told me I was a pregnant, after that I am not believe home test,
