    Gall bladder
Does taking Omega 3's in the capsule form filled with oil bring on a gallbladder attack? I know to stay away from fried food etc, but was told to take Omega 3's.

It's a balancing act if you have gallstones, in that too much fat will bring on an attack, but too little fat leaves the gallbladder inactive and allows the stones to get bigger and bigger.

Capsules of fish oil are small and contain a relatively small amount of fat. If you've been told to take them, I would. If you take them and get attacks as a result, talk to your doctor, but I think you'll be fine.
