I just got a divorce today and I had to give the father vistation, every other weekend. In the mean time my Dad in Va. Has rented me a house there. Can I leave the state with my child who is 13 and don't want to see her father? He is a sex affender. I know that I have to leave an address for him, but is that it? It also said in the divorce that his vistation does not start till the child is in cancialling. What do I do?

A visitation order was still put into affect even though the father is a sex offender? Wa the court aware of this?

Most likely if a visitation order was placed you would need consent from the father in order to move. You should check the order regarding this or the courts to find out if it's legal.

Also, if you feel the child was endanger you should've address this issue in court because I would be weary of him around my daughter and would,if anything, request that the visitations are supervise.
