Your new station wagon has 14,000 miles on the odometer. The new car warranty expired at the 12,000 mile mark. Yesterday, while you were driving the car to school the axle broke. The dealer tells you it will cost over 1,000 to have the problem fixed because the warranty has expired. What should you do?

Mark used his credit card to purchase gasoline each month. She drives her car a lot and buy 100 gallons a month. She has been paying about 1.20 a gallon latly but notices that if she with cash, she could save three cents a gallon. Would you advise mark to use cash or continue using her card? Ezplain.

I should pay to have my car repaired

I would advice her to pay with cash because she would save .3 cent a gallon

Take the public transit

To Drive: 20 miles x $0.15/mile = $3 total cost
To take transit: Total cost is $2

It is cheaper, by $1 to take the public transportation system.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question.

To Repair it will cost $1,000

Perhaps you should look into getting a new warranty.

Perhaps you should consider getting a new car.

Using credit Card is costing $1.20/gallon
Paying by Cash would cost $1.17/gallon

Which is cheaper?

Cash, use cash to buy it.

Total amount spent per month: Credit Card: 1.20 x 100 = $120
Total amount spent per month: Cash : 1.17 x 100 = $117

Annual Savings of: $3 x 12 = $36

Nice meal at a restaurant.

It is not a lot of money, so take cash, it saves money overall.
