    Do it yourself modification
I have three children whom have not heard from their father for a year and not seen their father for over four years. He pays child support, not half of what he should according to my state though. I can't get a true income amount from him. He was given visitation every month but has not made attempts to see them. The kids do not want to be alone with him at this point. How can I change the order without being able to afford an attorney? I live in WA state.

You will have to petition the judge to modify the order. If he hasn't used his visitation in four years it shouldn't be hard to have it reduced but it will be up to the judge.

Family Courts are generally more lax as to format. Contact the court clerk as to what format your petition for modification should take. You might also find a Legal Aid atty to just look it over for a modest fee.

But don't be surprised if the judge doesn't grant it. Since he's not exercising his visitation the judge mije look at it like if he's not using it why take it away.
