I've been dating this guy for about 2 months.. but there's another guy I've liked for almost a year. My boyfriend and I are on a "break" so I can figure out what to do. Should I get back with my boyfriend or go after the guy I've liked for almost a year? :confused:

Until you make up your mind, date them both casually, and then make a choice. What's the hurry to be in a relationship??

Way too much drama already, if you aren't sure of your feelings then you shouldn't be with your boyfriend. So end this relationship for good and figure yourself out

The answer is: NEITHER. You could by an example of an "over-lapper". You only ditch the first person, once you KNOW you've got a back-up boyfriend / girlfriend waiting in the wings. Let go of the boyfriend, be single for a while, only date casually and really figure out what you are looking for. Seeking attention and making sure you're never alone is not a good reason to have a boyfriend. Period.

So you are using your ex. You admit that you just want him there in case the other guy doesn't want you. Let your ex go, he deserves someone that is capable of appreciating him for himself, not for your games.
