How can I retrieve emails that I have deleted from my Trash folder in gmail?
You can't.
WRONG!! APPARENTLY, YOU DON'T NEED KARMA!! (LOL) TO "RETRIEVE" TRASH IN GMAIL, YOU NEED A "BUTTON" FOR TRASH BESIDE YOUR INBOX; (1) GO TO "LABELS" TAB IN "SETTINGS" AND CLICK "SHOW" LINK, NEXT TO TRASH LABEL; (Trash button is created!)(2)LOCATE MESSAGE YOU WANT TO MOVE TO INBOX; CHECK BOX NEXT TO SENDER'S NAME; (3) CLICK "MOVE TO INBOX"... SIMPLE AS THAT!! AND I AM AS "UNSAVVY" WITH A COMPUTER AS ANYONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!! (LOL) TAKE CARE, Rick
You know, karma, i couldn't care less about the size of the text i'm receiving or sending, or if receiving large type hurts your little-bitty feelings, okay? In gmail, one does not have a "TRASH FOLDER," as such, until they create one; so anyone could surely assume that the original question dealt with emails "UNINTENTIONALLY DELETED," period - not those "DELETED FROM THE 'TRASH FOLDER'"... the subject at the very top of the page reads, "RETRIEVING TRASH FROM GMAIL," which is clearly do-able, because "TRASH IN GMAIL" remains "UN-DELETED" for around 30 days, after which gmail automatically deletes it... so, unless the person asking the original question has already created a "TRASH BUTTON," and we assume that he/she is wanting to "RETRIEVE 'DELETED' TRASH'" and not to just simply desire to retrieve "TRASH," then i stand by my original answer... by the way, karma, i do not use the "SHIFT" button on my keyboard, any more than i must, for a good reason... enough explanation for you? Rick
p.s. anyone using gmail that is also tech-savvy enough to have created their own "TRASH FOLDER," (not that it takes that much 'savvy') would no doubt also need no help retrieving a "DELETED EMAIL" from that "TRASH FOLDER" they themselves created... that makes sense to me; does it make sense to you, karma? I wanted to get your input... rick
