    Installing XP instead of Linux
    I want to install XP in my Laptop where there is already Linux-OS is installed. When I am trying to boot from XP-CD then my Laptop displays nothing , it seems to going sleep.
    Help me out.

    Is your XP CD a Microsoft or vendor CD? Or is it a burned CD?

    That's why. You need a legitimate copy, not a pirated one.

    But I used that CD in case of formating a XP-os

    You may need to contact Microsoft to get a new CD.

    Press Del continuously at boot until a new display appears it's the BIOS find a option that says default startup or something like this then try the CD again. Alternatively when in BIOS Screen press F5 or F7 and then F10 to save
