So I'm mowing my back yard with my Murray lawn tractor. I brought it back to the garage and parked it, went inside to cool off, and when I went back out to put it back into the garage, it wouldn't start.

I turned the key, and got nothing. The lights work, the battery is charged to 100%, there's only 3 months on the new plug, plenty of fuel. None of that is the problem.

The engine will turn by hand, but not all the way around. I'm not sure if that's normal.

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

I/C briggs? Is it a over head valve engine?

Yes, it is an I/C Briggs. Not OHV though. It's a model 286707.

Ok, can you turn it over all the way with the plug removed? Its not impossible for the float to hang up, etc. and fuel flow freely into the cylinder and lock it.
