Hell, I'm 23 yrs old, no kids and have been experiencing brown/reddish spotting,I last had my period on September 26 and ended on October 1st, about 3 to 4 days later I started to have the spotting. My period has always been 4 days early every month. Ive never experienced spotting in between. Any suggestions? Thank you :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Are you on birth control? Brownish red spotting is normal after your period. The brownish color is best explained by old blood still being shed from your uterus. That's what your period is, the peeling away of the lining of your uterus. Sometimes your body expels this old blood in between periods. I would only be concerned if you think you might be pregnant or if you detect a foul odor. In that case, go see an OB!

No I was on birth control about 2 years ago. I got my period on Sept 26th to Oct 1st, I started the spotting about the 8th> I will def make an appt. I took a test this afternoon and it came out negative. I will take another first thing in the morning.

Also don't worry about your periods. From the pattern you described, it is called "irregularly irregular" It comes when YOU expect it, just not on healthcare's typical 28 day cycle. Good luck!
