    Replacing existing shower stall
I have a 32 inch sqare freestanding shower stall in my basement. I would like to put in something larger but don't want to break up the concrete to move the drain.
Is it possible to purchase a shower base that does not have a drain already cut out so we can cut one where we want?

No it's not. The reason being is that shower bases must slope to the drain and you can't do that if there's no drain hole to slope to. If you don't wish to move the drain then a custom tile shower is the answer. Or you may be able to search the web for a shower base with a offset drain. Good luck,
    Tom
