Can a creditcard judgement make you refinance your home

I believe you are asking whether a creditor is able to use your home as recourse for your default obligation. Each state has its own set of laws... realistically, the creditor could place a lien on your home for the balance owed. The lien would have to be satisfied at the sale or refinance of the home.

First of all you should start your own post, but to answer your question if your state allows yes a judgement could mean a garnishment of your wages and also they could attach your bank account now with that being said a judgement will stay on your credit report for at least 10 years and in some states can be renewed for another 10 and not to mention your credit is shot and if you are lucky to get credit for a car etc, the interest rate will be extremely high. Oh yea, the company with the judgement will hound you until they get there money you will see no peace!
