Hi, I was just wondering if anyone would know if it is safe to help your dog have her puppies? My dog just had puppies this morning at 4 am. I was in the room while she was delivering just to make sure everythign went OK. You know that smell that they have when born? That foul smell... well I know that being around kitty litter while pregnant isn't very safe due to infection to the baby.. well is it safe and OK to be around the dog born smell?
