    Lighting without electricity
My problem is with my living room the furnture has to sit in the middle of the room no options but there's no plug ins for lamps in the floors, is there a wireless way that I can have table lamps without running cords across the floor under a rug. Any suggesting?

You can always have an electrician co under your house and add electrical outlet in the floor of your location of choice if you have a crawl space. Drop cords can and always be a trip hazzard.

I was going to suggest installing floor outlets. Battery powered lights would be a pain. Extension cords are a hazard.

    Or install ceiling lights.
