The only thought I would have is to file a complaint with the teacher certification board in your County and/or state.
What info would be helpful? I was attacked by a person who is almost finished with her educational criteria to become a children's school teacher. I have photographs of what she did to me and will be going to court on Monday to file a restaining order. She has a very long and well documented history of severe mental illness and if I can, I would like to prevent her from hurting any children in her possible future career.Quote:

So basically there's nothing I can do to prevent any children she will be "teaching" in the future? I don't want to press charges against her if I don't have to. Her parents are already going broke because of her prior legal matters. Thank you for answering though.Quote:

Apparently you are being too soft on this person, yet you want to stop her from being a teacher. Which is it?
If she has a criminal record for bodily attacking another person (adult) I am sure that any prospective school district will certainly think twice about hiring her.
It's really up to you. If you can prove she attacked you and have photos to prove it, go for it. Keep this one out of our schools. I wish someone had kept a few of my son's teachers out of the school system in Florida when he was attending school there.

So if you have not called the police and made a police report, in fact you could even be sued for sending unproven info to harm the other person.
Next of course it will even depend on what they are charged with, misdemeanor or felony and even then they may still be able to get hired as a teacher in some schools,
But without pressing charges, and getting her convicted nothing will be stoping her from getting these jobs.
And of course the reason for the attack.
