Do I have sex with him or not?

Ok, so there's this guy that I like and we kind of dated without it being "official" (you know the whole hanging out and then kissing good-bye sort of thing) and we kind of stopped seeing each other but then we got put in the same class and we started talking again but not in the whole "i like you sort of way". Anyway, his birthday is coming up and for it he wants me to have sex with him. But my question is Do I do it? I know I'm ready even though I'm young, but is it wrong to do it with someone that isn't your boyfriend?? He DOESN'T have a girlfriend and I don't have a boyfriend so it's not like we're cheating or anything. But I don't think he likes me the way that he used to because we got over each other but now I like him again and am not sure who he likes. So would it be wrong to sleep with him if I'm not 100% sure who he likes?? :confused:

How old are you guys, you should not even be doing it with your boyfiend unless you are at a point where you are ready to have a baby if it happens.

Don't have sex. He sounds like a jerk by saying he wants sex for his birthday, my boyfriend of 1.5 years wouldn't even do something like that... don't give in and don't have sex. It's not worth that kind of emotional scars, especially if it's your first time... that's something you want to be memorable... and don't get involved with it if you're too young.

Hon, I hate to say this but he sounds like he only after one thing, your better then that, you don't want to have sex just because he wants to for his birthday that's b.s. you want to have your first time mean something and with some one that likes you or loves you just don't do it to do it there's a lot of regrets when doing that..

Oh that's easy. It's wrong to do it with someone you don't want to raise a baby with. If you like this guy enough to spend every other weekend dropping the baby off to him and his family (and later him and his future wife), then go right ahead.

Enjoy yourself. If he's really cute, chances are the baby will be, too.

I think a material present would be better.at least he can give it back to you if he doesn't like it.

Somewhere in the 60s the idea of having sex as recreation became the vogue. I've never liked that idea. To me any sexual activity between two people requires that there be intimacy of spirit. I wouldn't recommend having sex with anyone that you do not have strong feelings about. And even then, becoming intimate with a partner shouldn't occur until you have been together for a while and feel the relationship is ready for the "next step". That's why sex is referred to as "making love"!

I think you really already knew the answer to your question. I think you know it is wrong, but you just needed confirmation of it.

I would go back to this boy and tell him that while you like him, you would not have sex with someone that you were not in a strong relationship with.

One last point. You say you are young. I'm getting the impression thast means early teens. That also means that it may be illegal for him to have sex with you.

I've had this before, A boy I liked asked me to have sex with him for his birthday present. I did it. And i never saw him again.

To me it seems like you have two options.

Option 1: Give away the one thing you can't get back, your virginety. Chance of having a kid.

Option 2: Give him a giftcard and say happy birthday.

I'm 17 and sexually active and I still say NO NO NO NO NO. do you want that reputation? NO.

No offence to the OP, but I laughed when I read this! Laughing at this guy, how outright and blunt he is. The guy seems like the perfect example of a "pig" or "dog" or something along those lines...

Don't give him that as a present, if you give anything. How about you give him a slap across the face?
