Was it a mistake to tell him that he's the best lover I've ever had?
    Hi,

I hope I can get some honest answers because I need some help on this! :)

Ok, have been dating this guy for about a year and a half, kind of off and on because he broke up with me and then we starting seeing each other again... needless to say, it's been kind of up and down but we really do care for each other. I think I'm more ready for a serious relationship than he is but at the same time he won't quite let me go. Lately, he has been very persistent in contacting me and we started seeing each other again. I love him very much.

Today he point blank asked me how he rated in bed in comparison to all of the other sex I've had. I love him, so I told him he was the best I've ever had which is the truth! I've never told anyone else that. Now he is totally being weird and distant. This was over text message, because he is in the military and is on a field op for a month out of town. Now he is barely answering my texts, and didn't really respond when I told him that. I thought this was a compliment... not a turn off. Was this the wrong thing to do in telling him?

well. i'm gonna tell you how to handle this. first of all, i remember when i was, like, 7. i passed a love note from my diary to a boy i liked, and it said "i love you." but his answer changed my life; i at first thought he was gonna say, "eww, ur such a creep!" but he didn't. instead, he wrote back, "i like you, too. i'm glad we're friends." it was totally sweet!... and this'll help u, bbecuz, my point is, i've come across this situation, too. it turned out he was just wierded out, fazed, becuz he was happy i said that. like, he didn't know what to say; and that we was prolly just daydreaming. but as for you, you're situation is a lil more intense. maybe his army buddies were over his shoulder and he wanted to be cool...? or maybe he was just not in a rush and didn't feel the same way about you.
Just hang in there. because love and relationships isn't all that's cracked up to be.

You always tell your current lover that they are the best.

But you never rate or compare

Don't push him away totally. Wait until he answers your messages.

Just give him time, give him some space there is no point to pushing awnsers out of him VIA text when he could be thousands of miles away. Maybe he is very busy, maybe he has not had then time to really think about it. There are one-thousand things that could cause this. Just wait for him to get home and then pull him to the side afew days after he gets back and unwindes and gets all the testosterone from his trip out of his system and talk about it. This could be a relatively small thing that could possibly be blown way out of proportion, maybe he is just a little insecure and does not one-hundred percent believe you. So just convince him that he is the best you ever had in bed. If you know what I mean =P
