    American and french dual citizenship
    My Girlfriend is american and has a french grandparent, does this mean she can qualify through Ancestry for dual citizenship?

    In order to qualify for french citizenship, if that is what you mean, she has to have had a mother or father with french citizenship.

    Check your parents' documents. Most French maintain dual citizenship, in case they do. You can contact the nearest consulate.
