After approval of Transfer of Probation
I've alread applied for my transfer of probation from FL to NJ. My charge was a sex offense, but they have already checked everything out in NJ and approved everything up there on Wed and the officer in NJ told my mother everything was good that he would send out email to FL on approval. It is now fri and haven't heard anything from PO out here in FL. I was curious to find out if anyone knows what the next steps are and how much longer it should be after that part.

It can take up to weeks for Fl to decide, the clerk doing that process may be off, they may check with local authorities where you are planning on moving

Yes it can take weeks as the paperwork must be sent through the proper channels in Florida and most state employees are not in any hurry to speed up anything. You'll get your paperwork in due time. Just sit tight. If it goes beyond 3 or 4 weeks then be concerned.

How can it possibly take weeks for it to happen? If FL (Sending State) sent the paperwork to NJ (Receiving State) then it means FL already approved the transfer and all it was waiting for is approval from the receiving state. I have my transfer papers in the process now from FL to NJ. I had my mother call the probation office up in NJ to see what is going on with my paper work and they said it might take 6-12 weeks but the MINUTE! They get it and approve it I can move the same day if I wanted to.
