    Best Straightening Iron
What's the best straightening iron to use? The one that gets hair the straightest and smoothest in the least amount of time?

Best is one that doesn't damage your hair too much ! You only get what you pay for.

They all damage your hair. That wasn't my question though.

I want a recommendation of a good straightening iron.

Has anyone ever used this particular iron?

Hi, Chi, apologies for the smart answer. I know absolutely nothing about straightening irons. I hope you find a good one though.

I know, I've looked into chi irons, and would love to have one, but they are just too expensive.

Sorry, but you asked for the best, you didn't mention prices. As has been mentioned, you get what you pay for.

When you find a good one let me know! I've been looking for a good one too. The girl that does my hair has a black one with gold colored plates on it- works awesome! I have no idea what brand it is but she got it from Sally's beauty supply.

I think this is the one. My hair is always really shiny afterward too.

I've found GHD's one of the best I've used. They are pricey but worth it. A lot of Salons use them too.

Thank you... I will look into that for the long run, for now I just got a new ceramic one from Wal*Mart for $16.99. It works just fine!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

No straightener is a good straightener, but I know of a product that really isn't a straightener but is BETTER then a straightener, yes it's a tad pricey, but it will pay for it's self because your hair won't go through all the damage it does when you do blow dry and straighten.
    Look into this: Maxi Glide

    Hi chihuahuamomma,

I just went on eBay and started to bid on some chi irons. They are much cheaper on eBay then from a regular store. Hope that was helpful to you!
