Trying to find Mystery Movie
Hello,
I'm trying to find a movie that I saw on television when I was twelve. It may or may not be a made-for-tv-film
It has stuck with me for a VERY long time and I've looked for years. I'd like to watch it as an adult Thanks for your help!
PLOT:
Woman and her best friend murder her abusive husband in the bath-tub.
They hid the body in the man-made pond.
When the pond is cleaned, his body is gone.
Woman is questioned in disappearance.
Woman runs from the law and then begins to go a little nuts, she thinks she sees him in the crowd etc. I remember some bizarre street carnival scene.
She goes to her hotel room terrified and when she shuts herself in the bathroom said husband rises from the bath-tub and she is somehow killed. (can't remember if he kills her or if she literally is scared to death - I think it's the latter)
Turns out hubby wasn't dead, him and the best friend did some elaborate scheme because they were having an affair.
So she comes back as a ghost and strangles them with a necklace that has a cross pendant on it.
END scene: investigator is assessing the murder and sees her ghost in the window.
