    No Last Will and Testement Left !
    Can you tell me what the California Law states if their was not a last will left by the parents? Do the children then split everything up equally? This happened in 1991. The estate at that time was worth approx 3 to $400000 dollars not including stocks, bonds etc..

    Was there an estate opened and then put in escrow ? Have some things already been decided because your talking about 17 years ago ? Your claims to anything may have expired.

    Yes without a will, it all goes into an estate and the probate court is over though someone put over the estate to divide up all of the items in the estate after all of the bills are paid.
