You know it was an amazing thing, for some reason Jesus never had cable or watched MTV, must have been a deprived childhood.

So the bible will not tell us what music to listen to or what TV shows to watch.

We have to look and view it at other ways, is it loving our neighbor, does it cause us to lust or to hate, does it cause us to want to do immoral things.

I was listening to rap music about 30 min ago, while talking to some younger people,

So we need to use a moral guide.

My mother always used to say 'Trash in- trash out' when I would complain about her 'editing' my magazines.

I have always that being kind to someone, no matter what they've done to you, no matter what others might be doing to them, is a christian thing to do. Of course, that doesn't mean that alone will get you a ticket to heaven. But the Bible tells us to strive everyday to be like Christ, to love others as Christ loved us. It tells us to turn away from evil things and temptation. It's hard to do, but the best thing for us is usually the hardest. It ALSO teaches us to respect our physical bodies. I take that to mean eating well and not defiling ourselves.
