    Religuishing a fathers rights
    I live in Wisconsin I am married and have 4 kids while my husband and I were separated I got pregnant. My daughter now has medical problems and I need to relinguish his rights so my husband and I can get her full help. The man that got me pregnant has nothing to do with my daughter at all and has never helped with her at all please help me I need to find out how to do this I am also on a fixed income and can't really pay to do this.

    How did you separate ? Was it through the courts and you or he filed on it ( like legal separation ). Were you both still married to each other at the time the baby was born and also under the same roof ? ( reunited ).
    The laws of your state may already give your husband rights to the child as the presumed father.

    Is the bio father on the birth certificate?

    I am sorry, what help can you get that you can't get now ?

    But if the bio father will sign over his rights to allow your husband to adopt, then he can adopt the child

    Of course at this point you should have a child custody agreement and a child support order, have you tried to enforce the child support, does the support order require him to provide health insurance?
