My homeowners assoc. put a final judgement against me for not paying my dues. I am also about to have a foreclosure against me for the home. Do I have to file bankruptcy as I do not owe any other bills besides my Mtg. I cannot afford to stay here as the taxes, adjustable rate mtg and insurance and homeowner association dues have gone through the roof. Can I get a garnishee against my pay for this? The bank is getting the home back.

The only way to know if bankruptcy makes sense is to consult with an Attorney. And, yes, if the mortgage company gets a Judgment they can file a garnishment, as can the HOA.
