Lump on head with a sac underneath that swells
I have a lump on the right side near the base of my skull that is hard and below the skin but on top of the bone. Below is a larger lump that is softer but swells up overnight. I sleep on the other side of my head. The small lump is tender to touch but not overly and I have no pain associated with the larger lump. Any idea what it could be as I am worried.

Sounds like it may be a pimple to me.

Pimples as you describe are VERY common in this area. Most likely it is filled with pus, unlike pimples on the face. This happens because the area you describe is usually very oily because of the hair that grows in this area.

If you're that worried maybe you should go and see your GP or skin care specialist.
