About how long should it take to tile a shower encloser. It's 4 X 5 X 8 with a bench in one corner and a inset for shampoo bottles at the other end. The tiles are 8" X 13" and I want to put a 2" tile strip between every 2 rows of big tiles.

Lots of ifs and buts, and your skill level, but I would say 24hrs as an average.
A professional would have it down in 2 days, one day to set and one to grout. Hard to say how long it will take you to do it yourself.
I agree with amricca, you spend more time waiting for the thinset to dry before you grout than anything. 2 days and you are done but then you can't use the shower until the grout cures.
