Only furnace blower goes on at power up.
I have a Tempstar Furnace Model NUG5100 BFB2 installed in 1995 I think. When you power up the unit the furnace fan comes on and that is all. Have checked thermo, changed to another, replaced furnace module(fan timer control) and still only the fan will blow. Help if you please.

Check your high limit and flame rollout switches. Flame rollouts are most likely reset-able. Please let us know what you find.

Hey guys, the flame rollout switch was the culprit. Was resetable. Did the trick. Was about to order new furnace. Thanks a million. This site is now one of my bookmarks. Thanks again.

I am having the same problem with the same furnace however I can force the burner on by jumping out the pressure switch. I cannot locate a replacement. Where can one buy a two wire-one hose pressure switch (actually vacuum) for the NUG5100BHB2.

Glacefam This is probably the same thing since the furnaces are made by the same company I believe. When you call the second link as them for sure.

The flame roll out switch activated for some reason. Keep an eye on it for awhile and if it trips again call for service the unit could be overheating/to much heat rolling out of the vestibule area.
