Does medicare cover braces for an adult?
[QUOTE=Comments on this post
flossie agrees: Many dental insurance companies don't cover much for orthodontics (braces) either! Sorry!.[/QUOTE]
From what I can tell most dental insurance companies don't cover much in the line of dental bills - not if you actually go to a Licensed Dentist! :)
No, Medicare is not for dental needs. You should get some sort of dental insurance. Braces for adults. To be eligible for Medicare you must be 65. I doubt anyone who is over 65 would want/need braces. They would more likely be shopping for dentures.
