My computer has stopped downloading. I have noticed it while trying to download Office documents from my gmail and other websites. It will still download programs. Anyone have a fix for this. It would be greatly appreciated!!

Wow... this could be a number of things. What do you mean it "stopped"? Like it starts, then stops? Freezes? Closes? What are you running? What is your internet connection?

I am using Google Chrome, on an At&t dsl connection. I will click to download it, and on the bottom of the page it will say, "waiting for mail.google.com" and never gets passed that. I have also gone to other sites to try and download documents and it won't start downloading. It will do the same if I click view or open as a Google document.

Hmmm... haven't dared enter the world of Google Chrome yet.

Try accessing it with another browser... Firefox or Explorer. See if you can download it then. If so, you will know it is an issue with Google Chrome.

If that is the case, I would first try removing the Chrome altogether... rebooting... and reinstalling it, if you are insistent on using it at all.

If it still doesn't work, you may want to report it to Google. I don't know how stable that is yet... but haven't cared to look into it either

Not really sure process you are using, try right clicking download links and choose, Save as...
