Hello,

I am a 24 year old. Two months ago, I came off Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I had been on it for a couple years. Please note that I am not trying to get pregnant (use condoms), I just couldn't cover the cost since I needed other meds more.
I have not gotten my period as of yet, however I have had brown discharge almost continuously. Sometimes it is heavier, sometimes it is so light I think it is gone. Is it taking a while because I was on the pill so long? Should I try to get back on it? Any other opinions or advice would be useful as well. If you need more information, let me know.

I am in the same position I was on the mini pill and I have not had a period for about 7 years. I came off the pill about 10 weeks ago and nothing. I have been getting tummy cramps and painful nipples and lots of sticky discharge but nothing else. My husband and I do want to start trying but not until I have had a couple of proper bleeds. I have read loads of people saying they got a bleed a couple of weeks after coming off the pill but for me nothing. If anyone else has been or is going through this get in touch.
