I would like to know the difference between a Nikon D40 and Sony A200. Which is better:confused: they are around the same price.

There is no way to determine "which is better" without knowing more about what type of photos you want to take. If you can provide more information about your photography skills, and the type of photos you want to take, then I can help you determine which features are best for your needs.

You will probably get bit more for your money in Sony camera. Also, Sony makes chips for Nikon so the "heart" of both cameras are just about the same. And if I am not mistaken, Sony mount accepts Nikon lenses, too...
