I'm trying to find out what this movie is I watched when I was a kid in the late 70's or early 80's maybe.
It was a kids cartoon about a fairy king that magically made his shadow come to life during some celebration to dance with and it grew into a evil thing that was trying to take over the kingdom. The fairies couldn't control the creature so they had to bring in some one (a champion) from our world to secure the evil. The only other thing I remember is that one of the companions in the adventuring group had a candle on top of his cap. I remember this because the light from it hurt the shadow somehow shrunk it down I believe.
Well, that is it, I hope you can help me out. I've been trying to figure it out for years now.
