How to connect P trap of ceramic toilet to 4" or 3" PVC Line
We have some questions on how the P-trap toilet connect to the outside waste line . We want to know which parts to fit that or tell us how to connect the P-trap to a 4” or 3” line?

    Michellexiao..

Toilets come with an integral ptrap inside the toilet bowl... so there is no need to install a ptrap. Just install a wax gasket and johnni bolts to a closet flange and set the toilet bowl and then install the toilet tank and you should be all set here!

Let me know if this made sense or if there is something I missed...

    Thanks...

    Hi Michellexiao,

As Mark described there is no need for a Ptrap installation just follow his instruction, also see the image bellow will give you an idea how the toilet sets, Thanks.

Did you have an existing toilet. Or are you plumbing in a new toilet?

What brand and model of W/C are we talking about?

Is it a conventional W/C that bolts to a conventional closet flange -- Or is it a Sterling, Laufen or Toto W/C that slides onto an above floor trap body?
