I have no idea, and short of contacting Harbor Breeze (Litex), neither will anyone else, unless you wrote down where they connected in the old switch. For anyone else reading, this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT and necessary for replacing a pullchain. Always write down where the old wires go and connect them to the same places on the new switch.

I just found the Harbor Breeze web site, and that's exactly what they said, write down the order in which you disconnected them. Well I didn't, that's what I get for asking my daughters boyfriend to help, he messed everything up. What will happen if I insert the wrong wires into the switch. Thanks
It's possible you could burn out the motor, more likely it just won't work properly. But there are far too many combinations for you to get the right one by chance. Go to Lowe's and have them open the box of the same model fan and write down what wires go where.
What website did you find? Harbor Breeze doesn't have one they are Lowes' in house brand. www.harborbreeze.com redirects you to Lowes.com
I did a search for harbor breeze fan switch and came up with eceilingfan.com or something like that, and got the # and fax# in Texas, I thought I'd email them tomorrow.
Let us know if they are able to help. It says on that same site: "Make sure to write down the position of all wires that you disconnect in the process of removing the switch"
I rewired the ceiling fan. I took apart another one in another room and followed the wiring. IT WORKS. Now, I'm just having a hard time putting the bottom plate back on and screwing it in, I've tried 3 times and gave up, I'll try again tomorrow.
Which cover are you referring to? The switch housing cover? You just line it up so the gap fits over the reverse switch.
I don't know what it's called. It's the last piece to go back on (has the lights attached) I can't seem to jam the thing up so the 3 screw holes line up and I can screw them back in easily, my arms are breaking.
That's the piece I'm talking about. Line the opening on the lip up with the reverse switch. The holes will also line up.
Thank you I will try that in the morning, I knew there had to be an easier way.
Let me know if it works. Also, if you want to, post the color coding you ended up using for wiring the fan, in case anyone with the same problem Googles their way to this thread!
I had to replace a Harbor Breeze Fan Switch and got a new switch installed. I thought I had written down where all wires went, but I hadn't accounted for a white wire with black lettering. Could you either give me some sort of wiring diagram or tell me where the wire connects to the mass of wires. I have the other end connected to the switch in the proper place.
Thank You
