    Abusive father and child visitaion.
Ok, so I have a serious question and I just want everyone's advice. I left my ex about 3 years ago right after our daughter was born. He was extremely abusive, even in front of and around his other daughter. I haven't heard from him in 2 years, but then the county took him to court for child support. He literally asked the judge " if I get visitaion, will my child support go down?" So the next thing I know, I get court papers in the mail. I have a restraining order that protect myself and my daughter from him. He is a seriously dangerous person. Can he seriously get visitation? Oh you, he also has a long criminal record involving domestic violence. Any thoughts??

If you have an RO, especially with a criminal record, there is no way he can get anything more than supervised visitation and I doubt if he will even get that. But if he does get supervised, then I doubt if a few hours a week will affect child support.
