It shut off on me last week while I was driving it. Then it just would not start back up. I tested my Distrubuter by grounding a plug to my engine block, and didn't get any sparks, so replaced my whole distrubuter, plugs, and plug wires. Now I am getting a spark, but it still won't start.


I have also loosened the screw coming from my fuel filter and attempted to start car, just to make sure I'm getting gas (at least to the fuel filter). And it seems like it is getting gas.

What should I try next?

I've only got 115,000 miles on my engine, so I've got to keep her alive for much longer.

If you didn't mark the distributor, prior to removal, the timing may be way off. Is the new distributor made by Honda? We've had many problems with new non-Honda distributors. Are the ICM and coil new?

. Clean the main ECM ground, located on the thermostat housing. Look for a brass connector (10 mm bolt) with 3-wires.

TX - I have tried lots of test so far, everything is passing.

However, I think I'm unclear on how to perform the "k-test" what does this mean...

It means ensure you have a good ground connection.

Can you help me with this,

"The confirming test is to turn the ignition switch OFF, disconnect the D harness to the computer, turn the ignition switch ON, and measure the voltage between computer pins D19(+) and D21(-). If there is less than approximately 5 volts, substitute a known good ECM. If you have approximately 5 volts between D19 and D21, repair an open between the ECM and the reference wire going to the MAP Sensor. After much experience with the K-Test, I wouldn’t bother running the confirming test anymore."

How do I know where pins d19 and d21 are on the harness? I've got three main connections, all with some wires. Which connection should I disconnect... the big one, the medium one, or the small one?
